Role & Responsibilities

  1. Controlling and coordinates activities involved with bakery production, sale, and distribution of bakery products
  2. Monitors the freshness and quality of all baked goods; monitors sell-by date on related products and proper FIFO rotation of stock
  3. Follow up variety and quantity of bakery products to be produced, according to orders and sales projections
  4. Control sales activities, following standard business practices
  5. Ensures safety of all employees and customers; safety equipment and safety protective wear utilized at all times, department is safe from potential accidents, and spills are never left unattended
  6. Follow up with suppliers to arrange purchase and delivery of bakery supplies
  7. Implements, through subordinate managerial personnel, policies to utilize human resources, machines, and materials productively as assigned by Section Manager
  8. May also train subordinates in all phases of bakery activities
  9. May also manage bakery that produces only specialty products, for example bagels or pastries
  10. May also manage bakery that sells products to general public, and may also prepare bakery products

Skills & Requirement

  • Certificate/Diploma in Bakery and Pastry Production
  • Strong Understanding of Bakery Production and Food Safety
  • Understanding of Inventory Management and Stock Control
  • Able to work in Shift Assignment
  • Positive Attitude

Working Days

  • 6 working days per week
  • Shift Assignment
