Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and work with staff to repair and maintain store assets (facility and equipment) at peak appearance and operating level, keeping costs within expense budget
- Plan and prepare store’s facility and equipment maintenance programs
- Monitor and work with staff to ensure that all equipment is in good condition and operating at maximum utilization; prepare contingency plan for staff in case of equipment failure
- Control, monitor, and follow up on all jobs that are assigned to sourced suppliers or contractors
- Monitor to ensure that correct sourced suppliers or contractors fit with the maintenance issues
- Monitor management and control activities of manpower both internal and external department
- Acts as liaison with Pest Control company to ensure and maintain adequate service level
- Monitor that maintenance related equipment is properly pre-checked and used
- Ensure that damaged or no longer used assets are properly documented, processed, and disposed of on a timely basis
- Maintain high standard of health and safety in the store and department is safe from potential accidents; ensure safety procedures and policies are always followed, safety equipment and/or protective safety is utilized at all times, and that a spill is never left unattended.
- Ensure adequate training of equipment (forklifts, stacker, electric pallet jacks, cutting devices, etc.)
- Coordinate and prepare service agreement for other departments with related maintenance building, machines and equipments of store (i.e. contact with police station, municipality, etc).
- Maintain a high level of customer service when working with outsourced personnel or on the sales floor during business hours
- Prepare Repair & Maintenance annual budget
- Perform any other tasks not specified here within as required
Skills & Requirement
Graduate of Bachelor Degree or Undergraduate
At least 1 year of experience in Retail/Wholesale Industry
Able to work in Shift Assignment
